Hydroseeding Grass
Low cost, fast application, rapid germination, and healthy growth — this is the power of Hydroseeding Grass.
Hydroseeding is an unmatched method for establishing grass in residential areas, commercial landscapes, public works projects, erosion control, industrial zones, and general landscaping applications.
Hydroseeding grass is applied by spraying a slurry mixture directly onto prepared soil surfaces — or onto unprepared slopes for erosion control. Using a high-pressure hydroseeder / hydromulcher, the mixture is blended inside the tank with mulch, grass seed, fertilizer, water retainers, and other germination-enhancing additives, then evenly applied across the ground.
Unlike traditional hand seeding or sod installation, hydroseeding can be applied on almost any terrain, including steep slopes. Hand seeding and sod installation require leveled soil with minimal slope, making them limited in application. Hydroseeding accelerates germination, improves root development, and provides superior erosion protection — delivering results far beyond conventional methods.
Hydroseeding is also one of the most effective systems for erosion control. Because the seed is suspended within a nutrient-rich mulch slurry, germination begins quickly and evenly. Under the right conditions, hydreseeding produces dense, healthy, green turf in a very short time.
Key advantages include:
-
Reduced bird interference (seeds are protected within the mulch layer)
-
Mulch helps hold seeds in place and reduces erosion (except during extreme rainfall)
-
Even and homogeneous seed distribution
-
Faster germination and healthier early growth compared to traditional seeding methods
Overall, hydroseeding grass promotes rapid establishment, improved plant health, and enhanced early-stage development, making it the preferred choice for modern landscaping and erosion control projects.
